Naturally. The Schmiedalm is ideal for families with children of all ages.

Private parties with travelling guests are very welcome. Events with external guests require individual coordination with our event team at Hotel Der Unterschwarzachhof and the après-ski & event location Der Schwarzacher.

Depending on occupancy, late check-out is possible for an additional charge. Our "sleep-in brunch", which you can book in addition, is very popular - ideal for enjoying the last day of your holiday to the full.

Our team is at your disposal for individual requests: Table reservations, ski courses, excursions, transfers, helicopter flights, private dining experiences, chef's table with our chef, private arrivals and departures for fellow travellers during your stay - naturally also for business appointments required at short notice

Our housekeeping service provides fresh towels and thorough cleaning of all living areas and bathrooms every day on request. We are also happy to take care of your personal laundry service.

The Schmiedalm offers exclusive living comfort for up to 10 people.

Travel to the Hotel Der Unterschwarzachhof in Saalbach Hinterglemm, where we will welcome you for check-in and inform you about how to get there. After check-in, you drive directly to the Schmiedalm (3 km from the hotel) in your own car (in winter with four-wheel drive - rarely with chains). Alternatively, our hotel bus can take you to the Alm in a relaxed manner, while our luggage service takes care of your luggage - on arrival and departure (location & arrival).

Check-in from 3:00 p.m. | Check-out until 10:00 a.m. Please understand that our housekeeping team attaches great importance to giving the Schmiedalm the care and preparation time it deserves so that it always shines in perfect splendour for new guests.

Simple and uncomplicated, either directly online via our enquiry form or by telephone on +43 6541 6633 (Hotel Der Unterschwarzachhof). The booking and correspondence is handled by the Hotel Der Unterschwarzachhof.

Our cancellation policy depends on the season and time of booking. You will receive the exact conditions with your individual offer. We strongly recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.

A deposit of two nights is due after booking confirmation. The balance is due four weeks before arrival. You will receive the exact payment details with your personalised booking offer.

The Schmiedalm is situated at 1,320 metres above sea level in a secluded location on the Zwölferkogel in Hinterglemm (ski in & ski out - piste no. 38 and in summer ideal as a starting point for hikes and bike tours). The chalet belongs to the Unterschwarzach businesses of the Hasenauer family and is approx. 3 km from the centre of Hinterglemm.

We offer a shuttle service (from the hotel) on arrival and a bellboy service for your luggage on arrival and departure. A shuttle service from the railway station (Zell am See or Maishofen-Saalbach) and from Munich and Salzburg airports is available at an extra charge. In winter, our ski shuttle is available on request.

The Schmiedalm is located in Saalbach Hinterglemm in the district of Hinterglemm directly on the valley run of the Zwölferkogel (piste 38) in the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn.

Yes, there is a free car park right next to the Alm.

Before your arrival, you will receive our exclusive Schmiedalm à la carte menu as well as the current daily hotel menu. During your stay, you can choose your favourite dishes fresh every day, which our team will discreetly serve directly to your chalet.

Yes, a well-stocked minibar and a well-stocked wine fridge with a fine selection of wines and spirits are at your disposal. We are also happy to put together a personalised selection for you in advance according to your wishes.

On request, we can arrange exclusive private dining evenings, BBQs, fondue evenings or gourmet dinners. Our Chef de Cuisine at the Hotel Der Unterschwarzachhof will be happy to advise you personally after your booking in order to perfectly fulfil your culinary wishes.

Yes, of course. Our team prepares a lovingly arranged, sumptuous breakfast for you directly in the chalet every day. Your personal "fairy godmother" discreetly takes care of a perfectly laid breakfast table that leaves nothing to be desired.

Culinary offers such as private dining, fondue evenings, menu orders or personalised fridge filling can be booked flexibly according to your wishes and for an additional charge.

A culinary experience that is as relaxed as it is high-quality. We provide you with everything you need for an atmospheric evening - from selected meats to fine side dishes and sauces to dessert. Whether a fondue in the chalet or a barbecue on the terrace: assembly and dismantling of the barbecue and all the equipment are included in the package.

A daily towel change is included. We are also happy to provide you with a comprehensive laundry service for an additional charge.

At Hotel Der Unterschwarzachhof, you can use our high-quality gym. On request, we can also organise private yoga instructors, personal trainers or provide you with the latest ROTWILD e-mountain bikes directly at the Schmiedalm - including guided tours or for individual use.

The Schmiedalm has a private outdoor pool, a Finnish sauna and a cosy relaxation area. The 1,500 m² Alpen Spa at Hotel Der Unterschwarzachhof is also at your disposal.

The heated outdoor pool measures approx. 10 x 4 metres, is available all year round and can be covered to protect it from dirt when not in use.

As an exclusive family chalet in Austria for up to 10 people, the Schmiedalm offers 400 m² of space for shared experiences and undisturbed relaxation. While the little ones experience new adventures in the Unterschwarzachhof KidsClub (just 2 km away), the adults enjoy the peace and quiet of the chalet, the perfect ambience and direct access to the piste in winter and idyllic hiking trails in summer. The facilities for children (mini farm, kids' club, etc.) at Hotel Der Unterschwarzachhof can also be used.

As guests of the Schmiedalm, your children can use the KidsClub at the Unterschwarzachhof - in summer daily from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and in winter from 12:00 noon to 10:00 p.m. for little adventurers aged 3 and over.

We are happy to organise loving care for your little ones in the Schmiedalm on request.

Saalbach-Hinterglemm - the #HomeofLässig - offers a wide range of summer activities: Hiking, e-biking, golf, horse riding, paragliding, climbing, alpine hikes, canyoning, via ferratas, guided tours and much more. We are happy to organise your own personal experiences for you.

We have an exclusive network of ski instructors: locals from Saalbach-Hinterglemm, experienced private instructors and international ski guides who speak many of the languages of our international guests.

The Schmiedalm is located in the immediate vicinity of the Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn ski area. If there is enough snow, you can enjoy almost direct ski-in/ski-out convenience. Our in-house shuttle service will take you comfortably with your ski equipment to the desired mountain lifts at any time on request.

The Schmiedalm has a private ski room including ski boot heating. If you prefer to start your skiing day directly at the Unterschwarzach cable car in the valley, we will of course also be happy to store your ski equipment for you in the ski cellar of the Hotel Der Unterschwarzachhof.

There are several GPs and two pharmacies in Hinterglemm and Saalbach. The nearest hospital is in Zell am See (approx. 30 minutes' drive).

Our cleaning and hygiene standards meet the highest quality requirements. All areas are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected on a regular basis.
