The prices are per night including chalet breakfast and the extensive Schmiedalm inclusive services (plus local tax and mobility tax). The chalet can be booked for up to 10 people.

Interesting facts & information
- Bookable from 3 nights (also available for 2 nights if it fits in with the booking schedule.) Minimum occupancy 2 persons.
- Local tax per person and day (from 15 years) € 2.95 and mobility tax (Guest Mobility Ticket) per person and day € 0.50 Euro.
- The chalet breakfast and daily cleaning (at your preferred time) are included in the price.
- You are also welcome to book ski passes, beauty & wellness treatments, drinks & meals in addition
- Private chef and service staff can be booked for an extra charge and subject to availability
- Dogs: Your four-legged family member is very welcome (maximum 2 dogs). Please let us know in advance, we will be happy to prepare a dog cushion and feeding bowl for you. Dog insurance is recommended.
Surcharge per dog per day (without food): € 50.00 in summer and € 70.00 in winter.
Terms of payment & deposit
A deposit of 2 nights is required by bank transfer within one week of booking. The balance must also be paid by bank transfer one month before arrival.
Extras such as private cooking, ski passes, massages or spa treatments can be paid on departure via Visa or MasterCard.
Cancellation conditions
Sometimes something unforeseen comes up - it can happen to anyone!
To protect yourself and your family in the best possible way, we recommend taking out cancellation insurance. This way you avoid unnecessary hassle, and for us as hosts who live from booked overnight stays, the planning remains reliable. Find out more and take out cancellation insurance.
If you have to cancel your trip, please inform us in writing. In the event of a cancellation free of charge, the deposit already paid will be retained for a future stay that is still outstanding. If you do not wish this to happen, please let us know in good time and we will refund your deposit immediately.

Cancellation conditions:
Free cancellation up to 60 days before the arrival date
Cancellation fees within the chargeable period:
- 59 to 30 days before arrival: 40 % of the total price
- 29 to 7 days before arrival: 70 % of the total price
- From 6 days before arrival or in case of no-show: 90 % of the total price
- In case of early departure: 100 % of the total price
Additional information: The cancellation costs refer to the total price of the booking. The above conditions also apply if the number of persons booked is reduced.

What cancellation conditions apply?
Our cancellation policy depends on the season and time of booking. You will receive the exact conditions with your individual offer. We strongly recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.
Is breakfast included in the chalet stay?
Yes, of course. Our team prepares a lovingly arranged, sumptuous breakfast for you directly in the chalet every day. Your personal "fairy godmother" discreetly takes care of a perfectly laid breakfast table that leaves nothing to be desired.
What are the payment terms?
A deposit of two nights is due after booking confirmation. The balance is due four weeks before arrival. You will receive the exact payment details with your personalised booking offer.
Which culinary services can I book as part of my chalet stay?
Culinary offers such as private dining, fondue evenings, menu orders or personalised fridge filling can be booked flexibly according to your wishes and for an additional charge.
What is the maximum number of people that can stay overnight?
The Schmiedalm offers exclusive living comfort for up to 10 people.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 3:00 p.m. | Check-out until 10:00 a.m. Please understand that our housekeeping team attaches great importance to giving the Schmiedalm the care and preparation time it deserves so that it always shines in perfect splendour for new guests.
What is included in the price?
In addition to the chalet breakfast and the luxury of 400 m² of exclusively equipped open space in a premium secluded location on the mountain, private pool, sauna, daily extra bed service and much more, you can enjoy numerous amenities at the Hotel Unterschwarzachhof, such as the Alpen Spa, childcare, the activity and leisure programme and much more. In the summer months, as our guest you receive the Saalbach Hinterglemm Joker Card for many activities in the village and the surrounding area, such as the use of the cable cars in operation, free of charge. The Guest Mobility Ticket is included all year round. Individual requests, such as private cooking, fridge filling, etc. can be booked for an additional charge.
