As part of the traditional host family Hasenauer – owners of the Hotel Unterschwarzachhof and the event location Der Schwarzacher in the heart of Hinterglemm, right next to the U-Bahn, Westgipfelbahn and Zwölferkogel lifts – guests of the Schmiedalm not only enjoy alpine luxury at 1,300 metres above sea level, but also privileged access to all the amenities of all the establishments: from the 1,500 m² Alpen Spa to loving childcare and the guaranteed most beautiful table in the Schwarzacher.

We love our home & nature
Sustainability is not a trend for us, but a lived philosophy that is reflected in every corner of the Schmiedalm. Regional materials such as Rauris stone, old wood with a history and handmade tiles from the original Unterschwarzachhof farmhouse parlour give the chalet its unique charm. We use our resources just as consciously: Food from our own farm, local natural materials and sustainable energy from wood chips from our own forest. Here, luxury and sustainability go hand in hand.
